Today is April 25 and the temperature is 88 degrees, it is unbearable hot. I have not yet turned my AC on, I am very tempted to do so. I have my ceiling fan going and I have the windows up. There is a nice breeze blowing through the window every now and then and it does feel good.
I am in the state of Alabama.
How is your day going?
What is the temperature where you are?

I guess you wouldn't go by Celsius, but I havent been taught how to translate it since grade seven, so I don't remember.
but it was like more then 20 degrees today.
which was nice for spring.

its going to be so nice.
I had a really good day, since it was warm I was outside the entire day, and it was just really really good.

Go to this web page and you'll be able to convert it there. 20 celsius is 68 degrees. Lucky you!! Wow! Here in North Carolina it was 90 degrees which is 32.2 celsius. The humidity was very high so it felt even hotter. UGH!
Here's the web page: http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm
Not a referral link but a degree/celsius converter site!

Today it started warm and nice! Later in the morning it started raining! It rained pretty heavy at times! It was a wet day and that wasn't all! The day started off at 62 and ended falling into the 40's by noon! It was a realy sucky day in Wisconsin!

Oh god that is such a high tempreature..
well here in india it is hot too but the tempreature is somewhat upto 40 or 45 maximum not more than that i guess because it is not so hot now. it will soon start raining here in some 10 days timing and then the whole region will turn green and cool, foggy.

Yesterday we were in the high 80's and the two days before. Today it is the 50's. Ah, spring in Kansas. I am a little cool. The other days I was okay, because my house stays really comfortably cool until we hit a hundred. I do as much as I can to not turn on A/C.

Well I live in Middle Tennessee and today is actually nice. It's about 81 degrees with strong winds, thanks to the cloud cover every once in awhile it's not as hot as it was. The past few weeks, it felt like Summer instead of Spring. If the weather stays at this pattern, Summer will be much hotter. Like you I have also haven't turned on my AC on and got the windows up. I'm trying to save as much as I can before I have to turn the air on. My winter bills almost killed us, lol, being in the $300 range. Hopefully, we will get some more rain today, without any tornado's that we got that one Friday. They are still cleaning up the damage from the two twisters.

It is 85 degrees here and I am in NY, yesterday I think we hit 90. I took my pups out for a walk at 8:30 and it was way to warm for April. It felt like a July or August night.
I don't like this...not one little bit. I am a winter person!

In south Texas it is windy, mostly cloudy and right now 86 degrees. We should stay this way until the middle of next week at least. We did have two hot days this past week and broke records for the date for our city. One day it was 95 and the next day it was 97 and very low humidity. We do need rain really bad here as we are over 13 inches behind and needless to say it is very bad for the farmers.

Hi, Chevee!
Last week it was 94, so they're calling today's 85 a cool spell. I guess it's to be expected in Miami, but any really cool day would be a very welcome respite!

Hi Chevee. Sorry I'm late answering this discussion but it's been a very busy weekend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY a day late! (I did say that in another discussion yesterday, just so you know I didn't forget. )
It got up to 92 degrees here yesterday (the 25th); today it hit a horrendous 95! And me, like a dummy, cut the grass today! Well, it needed it and I have been waiting for my husband to fix a flat tire on the rider mower which he finally did this morning. The grass was nearly a foot tall in most spots, so it had to be done ASAP. Plus, I really enjoy cutting the grass although I really wish it had been cooler... like by 20 degrees!
AND we're up here in the northernmost part of Virginia, in the mountains! You'd think it would be cooler than where you live, huh?
We haven't turned on the AC here, either, but every ceiling fan in the house is on, plus a few table fans are running. I have no doubt that we'll want the heat on again before summer gets here. Spring is such an unpredictable season! Also, it seems like the weather has been extraordinarily weird the past year or so.
Yesterday I didn't do too much. My IBS was raising a ruckus so I stayed inside for the most part and watched TV or movies. I did go pick up another prescription that the neurologist gave me, this one specifically for my "everyday" headaches. I'm glad I'm having that MRI of my brain this Friday... I want to get to the root of the problem, if there is one.
I hope you enjoyed your day yesterday! Did you do anything special for your birthday?

Hi Chevee,
Wow! what a summer you're having, well it was sunny today but windy and now it has turned cold so I have my heating on for a while and yet few days ago I had my widows open and my beddroom window open when I went to bed, now its all shut. Hugs.

maybe it's due to global warming, almost all over the wolrd have increased the air temperatur.
I was in Indonesia precisely in the region Bandung in West Java. Formerly, the weather here is cool because a lot of trees, but since the hill and mountain trees gone, the temperature is the hot in the afternoon.
May be time again we learn the nature, how do we maintain and care so that we can live side by side with nature

It is worse in my place. The weather outside is so hot and the light breeze only blow out hot air. The whole body feels very sticky and needs to take shower many times a day to cool the body. Inside the house is just like being inside an oven. The fan is on 24/7. I only take comfort during the night as the temperature drops and it is quite cooling.

I have encountered this number 88 twice for today! First I came to know that a couple is living 88 mils away from each other and now you are talking about 88 degree!
Well, for me the number is 110 or even more. It is 41+ degree celcius to be exact. It is hot and this is not the highest number we will encounter this summer. We are expecting it to raise upto 44+ this year because it is still not May which is the hottest month in the year in this country.
So, we are keeping our finger crossed for any kind of rain!

In london it is about 70 degree or so, though the wind is sometimes too much. The weather tends to be much cooler and pleasant on days like this, though it rains an awful lot in the U.K
