Is the rating system working today?

I posted a discussion earlier and have been replying to the answers on it. When I like the answer I give the user a + rating. I noticed that when I go back to the topic to answer a new reply, the rating bar is back, like I never gave any ratings to the comments. Is this happening to anyone else? I wonder if people are losing the +'s I'm giving them or if the ones who replied first are going to get 10 +'s for the same comment.

Mine is not working today either. Maybe myLot is making some upgrades or something, I'm too new here to understand how their system works.

I thought it was working again but then the +-! appeared again on posts I had already rated.

It's been like this for over four hours now. I only get his on comments that have been made today, older ones still show "rated". I hope people are getting whatever it is they are supposed to get when I give them a + rating.

I've never figured out if giving +s is beneficial to anyone. I don't understand why I check them only to find out they return. And I haven't found anyone else who really seems to know. Lack of adequate communication is always so frustrating!

According to the guidelines the +'s are supposed to help users. Someone said you would get double the amount of money if your remark was marked with a + but I don't know if that is accurate information. MyLot say they do not intend to give us access to see how others have rated us but that they will use it for various reasons. Today is the first time I get the ratings bar back, I used to only see the word "rated" on remarks I had already rated.

I just started here so I don't know how it's supposed to be but I checked it out and I get the +-! when I go back to the page after rating.
