Hi, I have a very simple question to ask. How the different between Stress and Depression? How do you prevent it? Which what you call stress and which what you call depression? As my experience, everytime I think too much about this and that then I feel headache, shoulder pain, and hair lose. What about you? If I am on stress for too long then I will forget thing easily, or weight lose. Have you have any experience like this before? what do you prevent about it? I always watch movie, especially scary movie. Please share with me, cuz I want to keep myself away from stress and depression.Thank you and have a great day...

Hi friend, stress is the load of work or overloaded with work and doesn,t have time to rest.while depression is due to over thinking, sadness, worried and failure or fear of failure in life. Any thing against wish will brings a person in depression.

I have the answer for your question, stress means when you worked heavily then you will get stress for particular job but depression means when you think hopeless and that is nothing on your hand and you feel you lost something like job so that is depression.

We need to think always positively so that is the only medicine for us rather that nothing so nothing we have lost we have number of offers in the future so keep on trying so that is my message.

Stress and Depression are different terms. Stress means effort which you take to complete a work and that is shown on the mind. Depression is struck with a sense of pessimism about life. There is no place of any effort in depression.

In my opinion stress and depression go hand in hand. I am not an expert and I am speaking about my own experiences. I do suffer from depression now and again and I get relief from St John's Wort Tablets from the health food shop (check with your doctor before taking anything). When I feel depressed there is no real reason behind it, the sun can be shining and life is great and yet I feel terrible. I can sometimes just feel over worked and over the years I have learned ways of managing my workload so I can avoid feeling overwhelmed as much as possible. Life being what it is does throw curve balls my way at times and feeling under pressure in inevitable; if it goes on too long it can lead to feeling depressed. I take my tablets and try to find time to rest whenever I can. Doing at least one thing I enjoy everyday is important. I cut down on chores that aren't essential when I am feeling tired. What I would suggest if you are feeling overwhelmed is a visit to the doctor first.

Hi Smileonstar, nice to meet you. I think that there is no difference between stress and depression. There is a heavy burden in the mentally unstable. Read more: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1974696.aspx
