Hi, mylotters, do you really like your major, or are you forced to learn that by something like rat race, pressure from parents or just being with someone in the same school? Is your major can triger your interest, or you like it more than food?
And wish you all have a wonderful major. God bless U waiting for you answer.

I like my school but my course was forced on me by my mom because she wants me to be an online english tutor like her and I have no plans whatsoever of being an esl teacher. I'm more interested in business or chemistry. Although after a while I've grown to like my course since I could use it for my other passion which is writing. Maybe I could work for a fashion magazine someday :D

I didn't like my major in school, none force me to take it( a little bit from my parents but not really). Its a long and confusing story. Even I didn't like it I didn't shift to other major because I want to finish what I started and it would be difficult if I shift to another one.

hi crazyracer,
I graduated with the course of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, majoring in English. There are only 4 majors that our University offers that time, and those are English, Filipino, Math and Science. I am not that good in science and math is really my waterloo, that is why I not chose them. The only option left for me is whether to choose Filipino or English as my major.I find English easier than Filipino, that is why I chose English. No one tells me what to take up as my major. This is my own decision.Well, I not love my course that much. What I really want is to take up a course in Computer Programming. The only sad thing is that, we cannot afford the tuition for the Computer Programming Course. I chose teaching as my course and English as my major because of practical reasons.I can find job easier as a teacher because we all know that there will always be plenty of students in each school and a teacher is really a must.I chose English as my major since it is our Lingua Franca. We cannot deny the fact that we owe so much on the English Language. We can talk to different people in different country because of the English language. As time goes by, I learn to love my course and my major by heart.I know that education is a continuous process and I love to learn more and improve more. And as of now,I am dreaming of becoming one of the best Esl Teacher in the future.

I absolutely love my major as well as my minors. I'm a Communication major with a concentration in Electronic and Print Journalism and then I'm double minoring in Political Science and Sociology.
My major was completely up to my choice as well as my choice for school. I want to have a career as a journalist with my goal being an AP Correspondent for the Washington D.C. area covering politics/government and then later one I am going to strive to become Editor-in-Chief for a national multi-media news outlet.
For school choice, I choose Virginia Tech. I needed some place in-state and I absolutely love the size and spirit of the school. 25,000 students and growing!
