comfort food on a rainy sunday afternoon

hey everyone... it's a rainy sunday afternoon and i have cousins comin' over. i'm thinkin' of bakin' choc puddin' cake...mum's gonna get vanilla ice cream to go on top and boy...i can't wait to have the nice smell of somethin' bakin' in the oven... what's your comfort food?

I looove to eat pasta, especially pesto. But I only eat them. Attempted to cook for myself, but I am a failure when it comes to kitchen stuff. I also love to eat nuts... almonds, cashews, pistachios (the list goes on...lol). I kinda love ice cream...but I easily get tonsilitis :-(

lol i like when you put in the bit.. "but i only eat them" heheh i'm not a cook but i can bake simple stuff. gotta learn how to cook more now that i'm gettin' married in 19 days!! *gaspz* that or the hubby has to cook or we do take-aways!! nuts i'm not a big fan of though..maybe in choc bars but not pistachios...but me loves ice cream...ohhh strawberry milkshake!! mmmmm

getting married in 19 days?!!! whoaa! cool! yeah, you should start learning kitchen stuff. I am not married, but I have a son. Since I am not good in cooking, I always end up on restos when I need comfort foods. tsk tsk...not a good idea if you're trying to save up.

hehe yeah..gettin' married in what is now 17 days!! yikes!! we tend to eat out a lot too which is not good when tryin to save up. a weddin' don't come cheap!! but comfort food is soooo important. which is why i bake...it helps to de-stress and you can pig out after!! i used to do the whole eatin' ice cream from the tub at the kitchen counter...but good gosh that was sinful...
