Do you like crab legs? Do you like King Crab legs or Snow crabs? Do you like other parts of the crab as well? I am very fond of king crab legs - with hot drawn butter, but since we moved from the North East I have not had them. It has been 12 long years.

I haven't had anything with crab in a very long while. Money is the problem pretty much. But I enjoy crab legs, although I don't know of they were king crab or snow crab. I think they must have been snow crab. But I like stuff like tilapia stuffed with crab, and things like that. And if the restaurant is any good, I usually like crab cakes. Frozen crab cakes at the grocery store are just okay.

I understand completely! I also agree that a crab cake can be incredible - but sometimes it will be just a crab flavored bread stuffing, bleh. I love crab stuffed filet of sole.

yup, king crab legs are delicious and sadly that is the only part that is tasty with the king crab. the smaller crabs are a lot tastier and i like the high cholesterol deliciously licking yellow orange fat! lol. good while i can still eat them. I know it's bad but it taste so good 'can't resist them.

I like crabs because it really tastes good. The disadvantage that it is not convenient to eat it compares to the shrimps. I love China

the king crab legs do not give me any trouble, but the snow crab legs certainly take a bit of effort. maybe that makes it taste all the better.

Do they "gross you out" or are you unable to eat them?

I like king crab legs. I have not had any in a long time, but last week my mother treated me to Red Lobster. They were very good, I almost forgot how good they are. I had them with drawn butter, and I had about four of them. I used to buy them at a local fish market, but they have gotten rather pricey, and I really can not afford them anymore.

I used to love crabs...in whatever way it's cooked, it's yummy! However, today I avoid eating them because I developed allergies to sea foods, especially crabs, lobsters, shrimps, etc. I had this bout of allergic reactions and it was awful. I was bloated and itchy and difficulty in breathing. So now, I avoid 'em, too bad I could not longer indulget on one of my favorites--crabs.

oh I am sorry about your alergies! that would be very sad. I wonder if it is from all the toxins that are being dumped into their environment.

Alavar Sauce - Crabs with alavar sauce. Shrimps or any crustaceans will go well witht he sauce.
Yeah i love eating crabs. It's an expensive delicacy here in our country eventhough it's quite abundant here because the country is surrounded by the sea. I have tried crab with butter but i'm sure it tastes good. Have you tried it crabs with crab fat and peanut butter? We have it here but i really don't know how it's done because it's a trade secret from the restaurant. it's called crab in Alavar sauce. You should really try it.

I have never heard of crab in alavar sauce, but if I should find some crab legs that I can afford I shall look up a recipe and give it a go. (if I can find a recipe that is)
