Gun Buy Back Program

It was a gun buyback, not a bomb buyback.
A dimwit was being held by police Saturday after he attempted to turn over a live hand grenade to police at a gun-buyback program in the Bronx. My opinion although this individual was not to bright, there is one less grenade on the streets. What are your thoughts, what do you believe should happen to this person???

I bet the guy thought he was doing the right thing. It was dangerous and he took it to them to dispose of it in the proper way. Why did he have the hand Grenade? After WWII, Korea, Viet Nam and other wars soldiers brought back souvenirs. At the time it may have seemed cool to have a Grenade but as they though about it it was not cool. Now what to do with it? He made a wise choice and should not be prosecuted for it.
