If I told you that in the last 2 years my Vet bills would have been over £4,000 pounds whereas my insurance was £248, would you think it was worth it? Even taking into account the £120 a year I've paid for my cat but thankfully not needed I think it's proved it's worth.

Definetly! The bill starts the moment you walk through the vets door... Hope all is well for your little ones;}

Thankfully my dog is now fit and well (she was rescued and had been very neglected) and the cats are too. I can't get insurance for one of the cats because he's 18 years old but he's still a healthy active cat with no signs of age related problems.

The dog is fine now. She was a rescue and had been very badly neglected! The cats are fine too which I'm thankful for. I can't get insurance for one of them as he's 18 years old. I keep an emergency fund for him so that I'm prepared for the first treatment costs should he need any. I'd rather spend money on insurance than take a risk and I don't spend a lot on other things for them. They don't need many toys and I disagree with clothes!
