Where does the story end with the 13 yr. old that was "strip-searched" @ school?

There has been a story on the news in the past week or so, that tells of a 13 yr. old girl, who was "strip-searched" at school.
This was done because another girl that was caught with cigarettes and 'Tylenol 3.'
This other girl said that she got it from the young lady mentioned above.
The strip-search was a humiliating experience to say the least, and found nothing. The young lady that went through it, was so traumatized, that she had to leave school, and eventually went to a different school.
I can only imagine how furious her parents must have been.
This young lady, now 18, said she'd probably never get completely over the situation and the bad memories.
So - isn't it amazing that we've heard NOTHING about the acusser? Why hasn't there been anything done to find out what the whole story was?
It's a shame when mean kids can start something around school, that'll ruin another's reputation, and maybe even their lives, and get off without so much as a reprimand.
What are your thoughts on this?

I feel the accuser should be interrogated(too harsh word?). The poor lady victim probably was in a massive trauma, right? My question is- the police are investigating this right? Surely they don't let this off easily since incidents likes these are inappropiate.

I dont know the whole story, But i have a similar situation happen to me I was about 13 or 14. It was before Christmas break and my parents had did a christmas drink that they make in PR so when they wast looking i drank some, i was like it taste good. So the next day me being a lil ignorant took some to school and some extra alchol in candy bottles and water bottles. So i'm in school drinking and i told some of the kids and they started to drink some to. So i'm in class and the dean came and got me and they started to ask question and im say no it was not me no it was not me. So they called my mother and she came donw to the school and they ask here if they can search me and my thing she said yes so they ask to cop to search me and my things and they never found them. Because i flush it down the drain and throw it out the window. They found out because one of the girls was burning when she drank it and she told on me so at the end i didnt get in trouble. I know i did wrong.
