we vehicles but only my husband knows how to drive. he won't allow me to drive as well since he doesn't trust me on the roads alone. i want to learn to drive but im afraid. i just can't conquer my fears. i always tell that to my husband that's why he really doesn't allow me to drive. whenever my husband is out and the other vehicle is available. i wanna go out for some groceries yet i can't use the vehicle.it's so disgusting!

To me, it's upsetting to hear such a thing. I know that we both have cultural differences and different stances on womens' rights..But you should totally be able to drive, ESPECIALLY if you want to. I was afraid of hitting people when I learned how to drive (when I was 16) but I quickly got over my fear. And I've NEVER gotten into an accident before, and I've been driving for almost 3 years. Your husband should try to learn how to trust you more; you're more likely scared of driving because you haven't experienced it yourself yet - because you think it LOOKS scary. But in truth, it's as easy as riding a bike! (If not easier, that is). You can be a perfectly capable driver - even if you're scared. In fact, you'd probably be better than most drivers on the road, because you'd be more cautious and follow all of the traffic laws. Driving isn't hard to learn - 15 year olds in other countries can learn it, so you shouldn't have any problem doing so. Good luck!

driving is not an easy task to learn, but if u know how to drive then u are a master. maybe your husband is worried for u to learn driving because he cares for u a lot.

I'm with your husband on this - if you are afraid to learn to drive then you shouldn't be allowed to go on to the roads alone. Once you have learn't to drive then it is a different matter.
