I wonder how many people know about this .... thing ... tools... whatever you call them. for starters, I will say I know about them, not enough to call me veteran in this subject but I love them. vocaloid is tools developed by yamaha, the purpose for this tools is to produce synthetic voice. and to put it simple : it's a tools to sing your song, they used basic voice actress/actor for the template but, this tools is totally independent in it's use. I'm not huge fans for vocaloid for EU / US market, as far as I know there's only 2 kind of vocaloid for US/EU market and they are : - Prima - Sweet Ann but for the JP version they are more than 3 : - Meiko - Kaito - Hatsune Miku - Kagamine Rin & Len - Gackpoid - Megurine Luka all I want to ask is how much you know about them, a little ? none ? or you love them ? and if you know about them, what did you think about this tools ? will it bring new innovation in out music industry or will they kill the current singer (most unlikely).
