Do you use Opensource software or prefer commercial soft?
I use at work some commercial software because i need it, i pay the license and I use it, for example Windows or Office.
When i can't buy the license, i use OpenOffice or i search an equivalence.
At home i use Linux and sometimes Windows.
And you?

I prefer to use open source because it's the most effective way to reduce costs.

Me too use Open office instead of MS office. Saves me a lot of bucks :) Why to pay while we can do it for free?

I prefer opensource with which I can keep tracks of all the parameters easily. I also can change the code to get a new version which is more friendly to me. With commercial softwares, I have no choice but rely on their licence, while I don't know if it contain a program to read the personal information in my computer.
