Eating Time! too much food = waste of money

My Family loves being together. What we bond most is through Food. If one of my sister would throw a party it would be an endless time of eating, eating and eating. If we decide to go in the mall, we often time spend most of our time in restaurant or food stands and eat! Some friends finds it odd and a waste of money. They said we spend too much money on food and its not good. I totally disagree, cause I don't think we waste money cause it's food we are talking about... Do you think we're guilty of wasting money?
