Have you heard of the "Fat Finger" clip-on device, or have you bought one?

A friend of mine told me that this 3oz. clamp-like device, fits on the head of your electric guitar, and because of it's weight, helps prevent your guitar from losing tonal quality...as well as...allows your strings greater loudness and sustain.
Apparently, this little device has been around for quite some time????
Have you ever used one, or bought one...and what did you think of it, if so?
Does it perform as well as they claim it does? Would you recommend it to others?
I'm seriously thinking of checking it out.

Yeah, I have been doing that.
Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of music stores out there that I can ask about it. None of the ones I've contacted so far seem to carry this item, or have a clue as to what I'm even talking about.
