Do you think it's another way of saying no to discrimination? Because the moment I knew that God is a Black in the movie (not that I don't think it's inappropriate)I think I understood that anyone, no race, no culture considered could be our God's appearance. I guess we better stop judging people by their skin tones. Agree?

God is not only depicted as black in this movie, God is also depicted as black in the New York Noah's Arch ( sorry if I typed a wrong title but you see the point ). This means God can be black, Yellow, White or Redskin cause is our Creator and there is no way to discriminate each other.

yes i have heard this that god is black in color, i don't know why people fight for color, blacks whites n all. i think everyone is one and god is just one. but we worship different gods but god is one. no one should be judged by their skin tone, i think we should judge a person by heart and not skin.

God is an entity and therefore appears however we perceive God to, I believe would be the best way to say it. If you believe the teachings of the Bible that we were created in God's image... well.. then there you have it. God, as well as humanity, would be a little bit of every race and culture.

I definitely agree. Besides, I have never seen a better God than Morgan Freeman. I've always loved him as an actor and I think his performance is so convincing and great!
But yes, God is not human, so I don't think he/she has a race or culture. Besides, if God created us all then doesn't he love us all equally?
I think Lily Allen's lyrics sum it up the best from her song titled "Him" discussing God.
"Do you think his favorite human is Caucasian?"
I love the subtle sarcasm in this line.
