I'm debating on whether to play poker at PokerStars for money or a WSOP entry. While the entry would be great, the odds of making it are very slim and I'd spend a lot of money trying. On the other hand, I can make a little money by just playing the regular tournaments.
So, tell me what you would do. Do you want the experience of playing in the WSOP or just earning a little cash by winning some tournaments?

My husband loves poker, mainly the Texas Hold 'em...I think he'll play Blackjack from time to time when he goes to the casino. He's been playing little no money, just for fun games on the internet. I've heard about these money tournaments, how are they?

I play poker online at Pokerstars as well, and some of the WSOP satellites are very expensive. I noticed that the ones with the smaller buyins need 216 people to register before they start and they never get that many people. I have tried on several occasions. I will register when there is like 26 people in already registered and keep checking back and it will be like 15 people. There is never enough people to start the tourny, so it just never gets played. Its really stupid. So, if you wanted to get a satellite into a higher up tourney, you would probably have to play a more expensive tournament. I think there is a $33 Rebuy that is played continuously and I think there is a $11 Rebuy as well.
Those are all better than the $10,000 buyin AT the WSOP.
There are so many people trying for their chance at a ticket, so I am sure the chances are slim to none, but if you were to get lucky, that is all it would take! Everyone has that dream of making it TO and IN the WSOP.
Good luck!
