swine flu

I think swine flu is causing severe problems in some countries like the Americas. I really want to go to Canada, but from what I have heard there are some reported cases there, I dont know if there are any confirmed. I think Ill have to reconsider my travel decisions due to this new outbreak. There are some signs of the virus weakening from what I have heard. Hope it is not very severe and that the world gets back to normal soon.

I have read about the swine flu that has been reported about in my home country's newspapers. Some tourists came home with it from Mexico and are in hospital in Scotland. There are some other cases of tourists that have caught that serious illness as well as local people. I feel sorry for all of them. I visited Mexico in 2006 and had the most excellent time. The threat of swine flu is rather like that of sars that broke out in Asia a few years ago. Good luck everyone.

SO far there have only been a few outbreaks in the USA. Most of it seems to be contained in Mexico City, Mexico. It seems like its been caught soon enough, therefore hopefully it will be fixed before it turns into a pandemic. There have only been about 10 deaths in the states. Mexico schools have been closed until May 6th.

it indeed does sound scary and while not yet in my city, it has arrived in canada. i was at a hospital today for a doctors appt and they seem to be ready with hand washing equipment at each entry way. i think it is going to be a tough and long summer. i wonder when the pandemic of 1918 started. was it in the spring or fall? (meaning the cold weather tends to kill off viruses.)

I am very worried about it especially if it keeps spreading because I work at a supermarket wich I have to interact with people every day and im affraid there could be some people that got infected that would go there. But hopefully this thing wont spread a lot and die away.

Now almost countries try to come on some measure to control this swine flu virus which will spread to own country. but,we should't afraid this virus,according some reports,this virus is not spirited to hurt our bodies if we catch it,as far as we say a doctor,we will get will.

i have heard of this as well. from what i know about it, it started in mexico. it is some strain of virus that pigs get and usually only pass from each other, but somehow it changed and is now infecting humans. I live in the us and so far we have only heard of a few cases here, but in mexico, there are lots. it is scary, but the US is taking action to prevent it from spreading.
