I have worked in the call center industry as far as i can remember working. I have worked with 3 of the biggest players in this arena. Would you work in a call center? If you had, what do you think is the best call center? My last work is with siemens as a helpdesk analyst and i loved the job, better that A dell technician.

no offense for call center agents but i find the job quite boring. i've worked as a disc jockey in a local fm radio station and, at least there, i play music that i like even though i also talk. i don't think i have that much freedom in a call center

i strongly disagree! HAHAHA!! we in call center can also have fun if we want to specially when its AVAIL(no/less incoming calls/mails) we can also sleep if we like (just be careful not to be caught by higher officals.. hehehe) i think being dj, you cant sleep while your on shift.. PEACE! also if your lucky enough to be in a gaming account, you are paid/allow to play games while working! we can even say bad words to our irate callers(just make sure your in mute..hahaha). as for me, i really being dj and call center agent are one of those enjoying you can have.

I also agree with you. ITs boring in the sense that its the same job everyday but the work can be challenging. being a dj i think is more interesting...

It is pretty interesting to work in a call center with all the perks and benefits that you can get from it. But so far I am far contented with my Day job right now. Work is light and it goes with my biological clock as well. I sleep at night wake up in the morning to work then go home in the afternoon. Although my current job is not as high as the call center job rates at least I can be with my family at night and rest with my family. I think call center job is for the younger generation where they can endure the night shift better than those at our age. I can see them better endure the time and the pressure that these job entails. Although I have seen those that were assigned in the gaming section that they really enjoy their job since it is very relaxing for them to do that during their work time.

I loved working for call centers. My favourite one was a company called Synergy Contact Services in Australia. Although I didn't like the night shifts but it paid more so sometimes I had to do it. I've worked in call centers in several countries. But I love the call centre enviroment and the fact that you get to meet a lot of people and make long lasting friendships, so its not just the job, its the enviroment for me.. absolutely loved it and would do it again if I get a chance..

I have worked with a number of them and they're too many to mention. Don't get me wrong I'm not a hopper. I sought out all opportunities where I can get better exposure. I started as an entry level sales agent, then inbound, then some premium offers, then management, then training, and now high-end sales and services. The experience was a blast! Working in a different environment like in a regular paying day job was incomparable to the environment and the people you will work with in this industry (some won't be as pleasant), but generally people are just fun!!! I learned a lot of my base knowledge in this industry. I'm proud to say that developed a lot of skills working at night. I would have the say that the highlight of my experience working in call centers or were the friends that I have made along the journey.

Wherever I look on the Jobstreet, the Jobfinder, companies are looking for call center agents! I never wanted to work in a call center! Never worked in a call center and would never will work in a call center. Too stressful! I never liked the environment in a call center.. I'd rather work like a secretary, and have the office routine of work rather work in a call center... That would be the last thing I would do! Or maybe not.. Though after graduating few years back, call centers were the usual job I applied.. Good thing I didn't pursue.. Lol I like working as a Front Desk though..

I used to work at a bank call centre, faced lots of different people's voices and their attitute, it was the best aggravating thing ever during the time I worked there because I couldn't say anything back even the customer is complete unreasonable, all I could do was patient, explained, even when the customers were wrong, I needed to say sorry, that was very awful, I ended up qutting it.

If only I can work in call center my english is not good and I'm not good in communicating with people. The night shift is my problem it is hard to work in that shift. I experienced working in a night shift my problem is I can't sleep at day and so sleepy when I going to my work. I know that call centers jobs is abundant here in the Philippines.

No. I didn't study for five years in a university and spent thousands just to tend to furious, dissatisfied customers.
