Youngster Rafael da Silva has signed a 2-year contract extension with Manchester United. He will be at united till 2013. He is a sensational brazilian youngster who plays at right-back position for United. He has been excellent this season with 24 appearances and a goal and was a part of the victorious united team in 5-2 demolition of Tottenham Hotspurs. He has been in focus as Gary Neville was out most part of the season with an injury. He has played some good football and emerging as a talented player. This 22 years-old boy has shown a lot of promise and is a just replacement for Gary Neville. Do you think he will able to take the place of legendary Gary Neville at United as these are his early days??? have your say...

He is a great player but its too early for him to be dreaming of playing in the starting eleven. I think Fergie will hand him more matches in the future and Rafael is the star for the future. For now its gonna be Neville and O'Shea playing most of the matches

You are right, He is young and talented but he will have to be patient as he will not get much match time as long as Neville and O'shea are there. But Neville is 33 years old and he will be getting to feature in the important matches and he is also prone to injuries too. So I think Rafael has got some good chance of getting fe more matches in coming season. he only needs to be patient and wait for his turn.
