Would you have an abortion or agree with your lover getting one?

I am a lady and I happen to be pro-life. Therefore I would never have an abortion. I agree with adoption so that is what I would do if I had a baby that I didn't want to keep. I found out my son has spina bifida at 36 weeks pregnancy and was horrified when the hospital offered me an abortion. I said no way and that I would continue with the home birth that I had planned. I know some ladies that do have an abortion regret the decision afterwards. They might have nightmares about what they chose to do to the innocent baby. A lady that had an abortion to save her life might feel it was the right choice for her. Perhaps a lady that has been attacked wants have an abortion to end some of the emotional pain she is in. Abortion would be wrong for me but some other people don't feel the same way.

My answer would be no. I was never faced with this situation when I was young. I am 38 and not planning on having any more children, but if I was to become pregnant, I would have it. I worry about this with my daughters. They are only 11, but if they were to become pregnant at an early age, I would encourage them to have the child and if they did not want to raise it, we would look at adoption or I would consider raising my grandchild myself.

I was young, and pregnant. I had the baby, even though i was told an abortion would save my life. I cannot tell someone how to live their life, but i did not have an abortion, even with the risk to my life. I believe it is murder, whereas someone else may not feel the same way. I could not agree with an abortion for me, and i am glad i had my son. He is 23 years old, and i have two great grandchildren from him.
