Sexism??

I have just watch a documenter about women's right abuse in Africa. Women are treated like a slave, they have to obey their husband. The worse case, women are forced to do something they don't want such as being circumsized or married to the unknown man. In my country, sexism is gradually decreased, women are given an equal chance as men are. How about your country? What do you think about sexism?
