De-motivators anyone?

Just decided I wanted to start a discussion on the awesomeness (and sometimes no so awesomeness) of the de-motivational poster.

The original demotivationals were brilliant. They actually worked in the way they were supposed to, by taking a previously motivational thought ("Teamwork", "Success" and so on) and turning it on its head. After the first bout, though, they've turned into just a bunch of amusing posters. Demotivation has nothing to do with it any more, though some are still good.
Personally, I'd love to see some more based on the original idea: those were clever. The more recent ones mainly consist of a funny photo with "Look at this"-style slogans. Nothing clever about that at all.

I do have to agree. I like the amusing ones but I do like the older ones you mentioned. Either way I enjoy a laugh when someone actually posts something amusing.
