I am not parent so i may not be right person to answer this discussion but if you want to add children view also then i say that parent should have good listener also means they should have enough patience so that they listen to the child not doing their own. if they at least understand the child requirement then i think maximum problem can be solved without taking any time.

A good parent is not a parent who spoiling his child too much. In my opinion, and based on my childhood experiences, a good parent is a parent who can teach how to be discipline to his child. Discipline is the root source of every success people in this world. Of course if you want to teach discipline to your child, firstly you must be a discipline too. If you are good, then you can be a good parent for your children. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I think the key to being a good parent is being consistent with your child.
Consistent in telling your child you love them
Consistent in encouraging your child
Consistent in disciplining your child (not spanking them but teaching them right from wrong)
Consistent in trusting your child
Consistent in respecting your child
Consistent in giving your child affection
