I've read alot of articles about how Europeans are way more romantic than Americans. But is it true? Having an accent and being foreign doesn't make you romantic. Romance is all in the way you act. But truth be told, that accent surely can give you an advantage, in an American woman's eyes anyway because we LOVE accents! (Well, most of us do)
However is had been my experience that European men are more romantic, more nicer, more attractive, pretty much more of everything! And sure, there are nice guys and not so nice guys everywhere. BUT in America, there are less nice guys and in Europe, there are more nice guys. Sorry but that's just the way it is.
I have been with my German boyfriend for almost 4 months, and i've never met any American that even comes close to how sweet and romantic he is. My best friend is a German man and he's not as romantic but he's honestly one of the nicest guys I have ever met. And he is unlike any American man. I have been treated very badly by alot of American men, friends and boyfriends alike. From physical abuse to mental abuse...but none of my Euro friends have ever once treated me with disrespect.
So it is with confidence that I say, EUROPEAN MEN ARE MORE ROMANTIC THAN AMERICAN MEN and they are better in every other sense too. I am forever ruined for Americans! :-)

It is an interesting topic. I used to have a friend that I met when I was surfing, I don't remember where he was from but he did have very strong european accent and he liked to say lots of sweet stuff to make you laugh and smile. I don't know about American men though since I only know one that is very close and he is not romantic at all but I cannot comment on them by only knowing one American man.
