Now Democrates are home, what will happen to Pres Bush's policies

This election in sixth year of Prez Bush repeated the history and he is now mending fences with democrates. What happens to his policies regarding the world especially Iraq?
Any turnaround, will it hurt US

Thankz, in what ways the changes will be specifically. Democrates have very superficially admited that they want an early withdrawal but how it can be done without any more scars and pains and humiliation of leaving a work half done
