I wear glasses and I hate them. I cant see far away without them so need them to drive. I also wear them to work so I can see down the hallways but find the residents are allways wanting to hit me in the face. Had my glasses go flying more than once and don't know why they haven't broken yet. I also have a farm where I work with cows and horses and I don't wear my glasses then because I am scared they will get broke and I can't afford a new pair. Makes me wonder if there is any way to retrain your eyes to not need glasses anymore?

Hey starlight! I don't know if you can really retrain your
eyes! I need glasses to see both far and near! So I wear
two different pair! I don't know if you have a dollar store
near you, but if you do you should check out the glasses
there. I buy different number glasses so that I can have
extra pairs to read and to see far! They have different
strengths so if you go and try on different numbers of
prescription strenghts you might be able to pick up some
extra pairs! That's what I do so I can have some extras
since I am always breaking mine!

What kind of place do you live where people are hitting you in the face all the time?
I take off my glasses at home because I could go through my place blindfolded and not run into anything. But I wear glasses to drive, to see at school, for work, etc. and even volunteering with animals, so maybe you need some better frames because mine stay on just fine.
You could have eye surgery but I wouldn't recommend it if you're still young. I'm waiting until they perfect the surgery a bit more before I risk my eyesight on that.
