What do you do with your small amount of leftovers? It is not a big enough portion to heat up and serve for a whole meal.In that case most of the time I will use most veggies, chicken, roast beef, pork and maybe a few other things that I cannot think of right now in my omelet.Sometimes I add the leftovers to my soup. What about you?

If it is only a small amount of leftovers, I will force myself to eat it up:) I don't like wasting the food and it means nothing to keep small portion of the leftovers. So why not just finish it?:) Most of the time I don't like having leftovers and I finish it:) I love China

I Freeze All leftovers as in Chicken Beef etc (not eggs..lol) in one bowl in my freezer. After a week or 2 pull it out, thaw it out, and throw together to make a great Soup starter! Saves Money!! Kitchen small appliances & Needs. www.AandSdirect.net

well depending what's left, I either do a bubble ans squeak or a good old hot pot =] I really don't like wasting food so I love to make things out of the left overs, can't grumble at it either, I even sometimes look forward to the bubble and squeak more lol

I do this myself or I add my leftovers to rice if there isn't enough to make a big meal.

I am a grazer so I will eat the leftover. If there is enough for a lunch or a snack, then I will eat it. I have not used the veggies, etc. in soups, but that does sound like a good idea. I know if it is ham, or some peppers or onions I will use them for flavorings, make a macaroni casserole and sneak the veggies in their (easy to get my husband to eat vegetables without him knowing it. ), but there is only so much you can do.

I save all my small left overs like corn, carrots, peas , i save them and make homemade soup...That is the best solution i can come up with.I put them each in small baggies & put in the freezer, and when i have enough I make soup...I also take my fresh tomatoes that are not so fresh, wash & skin them and freeze them as well & add to the soup...

It depends on what it is actually. A lot of times I will just heat it up and eat it later on as a snack or something, but some things I will make soup or a casserole out of. Omelets or scrambled eggs is a good idea too though.

I try to not have too many left overs. It depends on what is left over, sometimes I will have it for lunch, or maybe a snack. Food usually doesn't go to waste around here, I have grandkids in and out, they are always hungry. If that doesn't take care of them, I have animals-they love people food.

When we have small amounts of leftovers like that, one of us will usually get up and eat them as a midnight snack. LOL Leftovers really don't last long in our household, if there are any at all. My husband and I are the only people who live here, so we cook enough for two, sometimes with a little bit leftover, but that doesn't happen very often.
