I have a friend that has catering business. She is preparing the budget and what foods to prepare. I came up with this question, do you cook? If yes, whats your favorite? Me, I cook for myself. Hehehe At least, if whatever is the taste, im the one that will only suffer, hehehe:)

i guess you're talking about me... -lol- oh well, yes i do cook. :) and please don't make it sound like a big business... i was just doing it as a another one of my little works stashed away. hahaha
cooking for me is neither a hobby nor a job. it's a must, especially if you come from a big family. most men in my family love to cook also. i think they are better cooks than the women in my family. -lol-
i like to eat seafoods, and my favorite dish (to cook as well as eat) is shrimp in coconut milk (known locally as ginataang hipon). since i love raw green mangoes, i like to cook something that goes well with it, diced pork in shrimp paste saute (locally known as binagoongang baboy).
but since living with several kids, i often do pasta... meaty spaghetti or carbonarra. when i learn to bake, i'd definitely try (again) to do a mean baked macaroni and lasagna, and my favorite cake... carrot cake with lots and lots of walnuts and cashews. :)

i know the basics, but since i don't own an oven, i haven't done much baking.
my first time to bake a carrot cake was during a visit to my sister's friend in cambodia. she (a nice filipino) taught me how. and since i really really love nuts, that carrot cake became doubly special. :)

I cook also, but not only for myself. My partner helps me in some supplement tasks and have the dishes with me. I don't think we enjoy them rather than suffer them. Sometime I also organize a small party and invite my close friends to try my cooking. Some of them ask me for recipes, some others give me some advices. I like that.

The advices would really develop your cooking. Im very open to that, because that will surely help. Take that advices and someday you'll be a great chef!

Yes I always cook. I think my family would revolt if I didn't - LOL. Tonight we had BBQ pork roast with roasted potatoes and peas. I made bread earlier and that was an added treat - gotta soak up the BBQ sause with something.
I like to cook and I cook because my family enjoys it.

I always cook. I love cooking. It is a stress releiver for me. One of my favorite things to cook are Arepas. I make them many different ways and with many different fillings. If you don't know what an Arepa is, it is a savory little cake like piece of food made out of white corn flour. They can be filled with meats and cheeses.
