hi hel, i prefer dogd. that's all we were ever allowed to have. my mother hated cats for some reason so we never had one. i like cats & wouldn't mind having one but wouldn't like the litter box, lol. i have had dogs all my life. my sons both love dogs to.

The only thing about cat and dog I like is :
It is raining cats and dogs.
You must have now understood that I don't like pets at all. It is not like that I hate them but I feel that looking after them is a tough job so, I don't think I will be having pets in my life.

I prefer a dog. It's simpler and easier to raise a dog. Dogs' food is also cheaper than cats' food. Moreover a dog can be a good guard, can play with us while mouse-catching skill is useless for me. I can take a dog out of house, but it's more complicated to a cat. In addition, I know some children who are allergic to cat hair, but I've never seen a child who is allergic to dog hair.

Though dogs eat more than cats but it's the ingredient that makes cats' food more expensive. And I think fish are more expensive than cats' food in my region. In the city where I live, I could hardly see people feeding cats with fish. It's not good if this food smells horrible.

Well our cats love it but we have to cook it first though before we feed it to them. thats their favorite food so far. But they do eat many things aside from fish.

I dont know about the cost of cats food but I think it all depends on how big your dogs are. If they are big food is costly but if they are small then I guess the cost would also lessen. and about cats food we feed out cats with fish so I am not sure about that ....

I have not had a cat before, so it is hard to compare. I think I prefer dogs than cats, that is why I ended up with a dog instead of a cat. The only thing I know is that I love my dog. She will not mess up the place and she has a fixed place for releasing her waste, which I think is the most basic thing she knows.

I like cats better because they are easier, don't bark, you don't need to toilet train them(they are already hard wired for it), and you have to earn their trust and love(dogs give it away for free, lol).

I prefer dogs because they seem more loyal to me and won't just leave my home for days and so I don't have to wait for them to come back.
I also think it's possible to start a deep friendship with dogs. I am not sure if this works for cats as well.
Honestly speaking we never had cats at home but always just dogs so I don't really know how it is with cats..although some other family members have cats at their home.
But yes...I think I like still like dogs more.

We also have both but I prefer dogs too than cats. Dogs are definitely smarter. They can easily be trained as you said and they seems to understand how you feel and you're mood. I also find female cats conceive faster ... LOL ... Our cat seems to be pregnant at least twice a year.

Hi ! How are you Dan?
If I have to choose, I would rather have a dog.
I love both. But dogs are more cuddly. They don't scratch and
jump all over the house. Only problem with a dog is you must get them
outside three times a day. You cannot really leave them alone.
I think it is sad to have a bid dog in a small apartment. There are lots of people that do that. They go to work and after work they are in the pub and dogie is alone at home all the time. It is so sad.
I prefer a dog, but a cat is better in a small apartment.
Take care my friend, have a nice day.

I missed you too.
Today I am feeling better. Last week was too busy for me.
I have been at home for so long, I cannot keep up with the stress.
But, I am getting there. I had a headache from thinking to much.
It was not a bad headache, just came and went for three days. hahaha!
I have to get things organized now, and I find it hard to start.
I have applied for a job, but I don't think I will get it or he would have called by now. On the other hand I don't now if I can handle a job just yet.
The specialist told me to do even more exercises, so I started yoga back training.
My back is getting worse again. I will keep trying and hope that I cannot walk anymore, then maybe the specialist will do something for me. The specialist gave me medicine for a long time, that they don't mind to do. But listen to me?? Why would they do that??? As long as they get paid and have a good life, who cares. If I did not go for a check up, I would still be on medication. I would have ruined my life even more. Medicine is not what I need for my back problem.
Oh well, I will keep going on. After all , everything has a reason.
Take care, have a nice day.

Hi Joe how are you sorry havent been here yesterday I missed talking with you.
well having a pet would really depend on the type of place you leave in since we dont leave in an apartment it's really easy to have dogs around and I odnt have to take them outside though since they are already outside not inside the house. lol only cats are aloud in the house thats what my mom says
I do hope you are ok today how are you?

I also have both, but a cat is easier to take care of. When you have to be away from home a cat can take care of themselves and all you have to do is empty a litter box. You don't have to walk them or pick up their poop if you live in the city ether. But I still love my dog.

I would rather choose dog. I am not going to intend to train them, but I just like dogs better than cats. I would like them to be around as a best companion instead of human beings. Sometimes, they can follow you all around, and be like a little baby attach to its mom all the time. You can have them do things, like tricks. They can make you laugh too. Why not dog then?

I prefer dogs, not that I don't like cats because I do..but I just rather have a dog as a pet. I think cats are nice because you don't have to worry about taking them outside to use the potty all the time but I would rather clean up the poo outside then have the stink of a litter box in the house. We have a friend that has a cat and her cat is pretty scary it just always right there making an evil meow sound and always claws at you when you walk past it. We have a dog here as our pet and I know she would never allow us to have a cat :)

For me the answer is simple. I hate cats. They are wild animals so I donĀ“t trust them at all. Dogs, on the other hand, are absolutly domestic and very capable of loving their human friends. As they are domestic, they can also be trained. And some of them are a lot more intelligent that what one would think.
Lola, my puppy, is in the naughty girl stage. But even now, she knows that some things are a no-no.
take care

I have 2 cats & 2 dogs. I love them BOTH!!! Even though dogs are easier to train, cats are easier to take care of. If I need to go away for a few days, I can put down plenty of food & water for the cats. I have to get somebody to feed the dogs. I am also finding out that, if you work with them, cats are trainable also. My 2 cats play fetch. I have taught them to turn on the light switch for me. When I walk down my hallway, I say lights & one of the cat jumps up & turns on the switch. After I sit down, I say lights again & the other cat jumps up & turns it off. I talk to them like they are human & they talk back to me (even though I can't always understand them). I had my last cat for 21 years & she used to argue with me. She learned to say yes & no. We had many arguments over the years. During the time I had her I dated a guy named Mike. When he wasn't at my house, she would go through the house calling him. Her Mike was different from her meow!!! So, even though I love dogs, I find it much easier to take care of cats. You insisted on one or the other....guess I have to choose cats.

wow you have a great pet there i was amazed of your cats hoe do they say yes and no and the turning on and off of lights is just great. how did you ever trained them
it's just amazing how you do all this things i am in envy right now I wish I could do the same with my moms cat. lol

The cat that said yes & no learned how to do that on her own. I have no idea how she did it. I talk to my cats like they're people. I'd say do you want??? Then I noticed that she was responding with a yes or no sound. I did train the 2 cats to turn the lights on & off. When they were kittens, I'd tap just over the switch & they jumped up to get my hand. With time, they figured out how to flip the switch. One cat is good at turning on...the other at turning off. It's all a matter of figuring out what works with each individual cat. They are strange & independent creatures that don't respond like dogs. It takes a while to get them to do what you want. It takes a ton of patience!!!

I prefer dogs than cats. I think dogs are easier to manage and personally, i enjoy playing more with dogs than cats. Cats have the tendency to claw and that would really scar you like what happened to my friend. Cats also have a very foul litter too! Dogs are usually bigger to they're easier to manage and i think they're pretty much loyal too! I have a pet dog named Moochie. He brings joy to the family and it really would be sad without him.

May I choose none. Because I am afraid of both. I just don't know why. But I can tell you i am more afraid of cats than dogs. I think it's probably because they are more sneaky. In my opinion they are ugly. sorry for all the cat lovers out there. This is merely my perspective. I think I would prefer dogs if it comes down to choosing. They are more better to look at and yes like you said you can train them and they listen to you. I guess I am not that much afraid of them. I just don't like it when they bark at me.

i love dogs better than cat.
when i was that young, i can only have cats, i mean they're these street cats from the neighborhood, my dad will not allow me to buy a dog, so i lived with cats rather than dog. but when i received my allowances, i tried to save it to buy myself a dog, and now my dad loves dogs than cats. he even wish to have one.
