I have really bad anxiety, and right now Im have a big anxiety attack. My fiance went to his friends house to go talk about a job situation and even though I know where he is at Im like freaking out over it cause hes been over there for a few hours. I dont get this bad during the day but if its at night and Im sitting in my house alone thats when it gets bad. I try to calm myself down by doing breathing stuff but it doesnt help it make me freak out even more. I cant afford to go get any medication right now to help it but I dont know what to do it seems like everytime I get an attack it gets worse and worse.

My husband has PTSD (he's a Veitnam vet) with depression and his anxiety sometimes kicks in even though he's on several medications. During these episodes it seems to help when he can get busy with something. Even looking at stuff on Ebay...he buys and sells motorcycles & parts...helps to calm him. So, try to find something that you enjoy and concentrate on that. It might help.

Your belief in your fiance should you added. If it keeps happening, so if you get married later will be something that could prop up in the life of your household.

The best thing I did was to find a friend that has the same. What I get a panic attack, I speed dial her, while vomiting, heart racing, sweating, etc., and then lay on the bed while she talks to me and calms be down.
I do the same for her. It works.
Susie.
