I don't know what to think. It's pretty interesting. And when I looked at the picture of the Last Supper, I noticed the woman sitting next to Christ. The picture's been with us for years and I hadn't noticed it till then. But I'm not sure whether to believe the whole thing or not. I feel I'm more open to such things now and wouldn't be surprised if it was proved right.

The picture of the "woman" sitting next to Christ is also a falsehood. That "woman" is the young apostle John before he had all the beard. With the trend of those days, he had long hair.

I think it's a very interesting fiction. Not true at all cuz no one can deny the deity of Christ to me.

I consider myself a very open-minded, thinking person. After walking out of seeing the Da Vinci Code, I hit the INternet for information...the movie made me think...made me wonder fi a number of things presented in it could, possibly be true. After a bit of research, well it was a fairly easy conclusion that the bok/movier is a wonderfully written and well done piece of FICTION.

The da Vinci Code is a work of fiction. However, it is based upon some old theories and obscure facts that have been floating around for centuries. There was a sect within the Christian Church of the descendents of the extended family of Jesus (and hence of King David) but this was disbanded by the Church about 600 A.D. The Merogovian dynasty was real and probably had links to this sect (thus justifying calling themselves "kings"). The Merogovian dynasty was replaced by Charlemagne's father or grandfather in 800 or 900 A.S.and that was the end of them. Check the book that the fellows who sued Dan Brown, I think the name of the book is something like "The Blood of the Grael" which describes much of the theory behind the da Vinci Code (some of it hard to believe and of dubious evidence). The 1970s book "The Passover Plot" is another non-fiction account that presents much of the same information and is more scholarly than "The Blook of the Grael" (the authors of the Blood of the Grael cite this book as one of their sources) but even here the author makes a number of assumptions and relies heaviely on undocumented suppositions.
But it was a great movie in terms of entertainment.
