What's the first thing you look at a person?

Let's admit it. Most of us judge the people we want to talk to or be with according to their physical features. I often look at the person's eyes. I could gauge if he is interesting and knowledgeable. What about you? What's the first thing you look at? Why?

i looked at the person's face. im distructed to persons with oily faces and pimples. i wish i could do something about that. but i will not tell that person right under his own nose. i'll just keep it for myself.

What you say is true. I have never heard of anybody "yet" who says "love at first attitude/character".... (LOL!!!) What I usually see is the person's face then next is the body (the way they walk and present themselves). This is especially important in my job as a physical therapist since the face, especially the eyes, is the first part of the body I take a look at to see if they are in pain.

I look at the face first - I think I ascertain if he has a worried or calm look - if he looks angry or gentle. The eyes tell a lot, and help me to understand how to relate to the person - or if I should relate at all.

I guess clothing style is the first thing I look at. I think clothes say a lot about the person (although that might seem shallow, it's usually true). A lot of people like to express themselves through their fashion choices - and I always think it's really interesting to see parallels in people who dress alike. And plus, it's easy to see what kind of clothes someone is wearing from afar - but it's harder to see their eyes or physical features from far away. (Or maybe I'm just blind). .
