Are you concerned about who or what the antichrist may be? I hear many people making sugestions or allegations about this. I do not think if you are a Christian that you should be concerned about the antichrist. If you follow God honestly, you will not be tempted to follow anyone else, so the antichrist should not be a threat to you. How do you view this in the times that we are living in?

AntiChrist are all around us. Many of the Christian Teachers are antichrist. They are leading people off out into left field so far they will never be able to get back to God. Read the 3rd chapter of Timothy and it will tell you exactly what our christian teaching system has become. Verse 5, "Having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away". Verse 7, "Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth".
Ask yourself this question. What would happen to your church if the money that is keeping it open stopped? I'll tell you what will happen. Some bank's lock would be on the doors and the Pastor would be looking for another "Position" and you would be looking for another church to go to. Do you think God is foolish enough to base anything He does on anything as uncertain as money? I don't.
Jesus did not put His church in that building down the street we call a church. Instead He put His church in the homes of the believers, to be practiced 24/7 every day as a natural way of life. Read where Jesus sent the Apostles when he sent them out to establish His church. Read what he told them to do and where to go. He sent them into the homes of the people that accepted Him as their savior. He also told them to take no money with them.

A correction. Jesus didn't say "where two or more" He said, "where two or three were gathered together". Matthew Chapter 18 verse 20. I don't think Jesus was talking about what we call a church. I also don't think he was talking about the kind of people you find in a lot of the churches. From the way He did some other things I had rather believe Jesus was talking about a Husband and Wife and maybe the kids in a home. This is just my opinion of course.

I am not a Christian (nor I follow any other religion) but I believe that the idea of antichrist covers a lot. These would be all your desires wrong in the view of religious beliefs, bad deeds etc. All that leeds you to sin would be caused by devil, antichrist and demons.
Of course, if you believe.
And if you follow your God (not people acting 'in the name' of Him), then you should be safe.
Good luck!

I think you think to easy about this.
When the time comes we will all need to answer to the Antichrist.
When we don't he will be able to make sure we cannot sell of buy anything.
He will be in control.(Through chips put in our skin, or a tattoo of the 666.???)
Funny, yesterday there was a documentation on TV about the Revelations.
It was real good, but scary as well. They let you see reality as well as the past.
According to this, the Antichrist is already among us.
But, then again, this has been said in every century.
Difference is, in this century things are happening all around us. The predictions are happening. Earth quakes, people dieing, hunger, poverty, sickness ect.
Sure we are not to bow to another God. But what do we do when we are hungry?
Personally I think I can resist. But, then again I am human. I don't know.
This person will be in a very powerful position, he will be convincing and people will believe he can make a difference. He himself does not know he is the Antichrist.
When he comes to realize this, he will take his control.
But, lets try not to worry to much, and enjoy life while we still can.
Take care, have a nice day.

Here is a verse to chew on:
2 John 1:7 (King James Version)
7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
