What about the relationship between your parents and you?

Generation gap between parents and their children is common around the world.The two generations have a lot of differences.For example,belief,habbies,values and so on.There are so many discrepancy between them that they can't get well communication with each other.
when I was in middle school,I leave my parent and stay in my hometown.They were in Beijing,while I was in Guangdong.I selom gave them a call due to the dear telephone charges.Sometimes they called me and we just said a little words.All was about my study.From then on,I live with myself.They just mail me some money every month.We lack of commucations.
Sometimes I feel lonely,it seems I was an orphans without parents.Now I have worked for about a years,I just give them a call a month.Greeting them and know about their health.Sometimes I will mail some money for them.
DO you think their exist generation gap between your parents and you?????

I am blessed with wonder parents, so much so that my friends and I wanted by parents to join in with our time together.

hi there freind... about the relationship with my parents, it's good because i'm living with them, i know what's happening inside the house, if they have problems i'm the first who will know, specially financial..it's so sad sometimes if i can't help to them, but we are just talking and thinking of things that will make possible to have a solution with our problems.. i'm a single mom, and when the time i got pregnant i'm still a student then, it's very hard for me to speak out that i'm pregnant, and the father of my baby leave us...my mother and father really cried alot, but things goes by, it's been 4 years now and i'm happy living with them.. most of the time it's my mother who takes care of my daughter when i'm at work..i think it's only the open communication really helps so that between us and our parents has no that kind of gap.. i know they can understand that but we have our responsibilities also a matured person.. happy mylotting

Of course there is a generation gap between me and my parents. My mom is more up to date with the new things in life and has come to know what it is like in this day and age. I have done a lot with my mom and we sill do a lot together and with out her in my life i don't really know where i would be. My dad on the other half does everything opposite, he drives like he is 60 and i can't stand people who drive slow and then he doesn't get the new technology stuff at all and he is still way behind time and that gets on my nerves from day to day and i don't do as much with my dad as i do with my mom. My parents mean a lot to me.

my parents live me since i was 2 year old. my grandma adopted me, as my mum on and off visit me until I'm 5year old i never see her at all.. until now my sis married on and off i will see her , but we never talk. she ask a question i answer one word... since she happy without us .just let this happen between us.

My relationship to my parents sometimes is not good we have a lot of misunderstanding and we argue a lot. I still love my parents and cared for them. I can't live without my parents beside me. Although sometimes we fights on things but still we don't hate each other. I don't want to rebel to them because they don't agree with my decision.

Yes.I also have a generation gap with my parents.But usually i will try to communicate with them.The less you communicate with your parents,the bigger the generation gap is.Also i tell them a lot of my ideas.Usually i make a jike with my parents.Therefore,inorder to reduce the generation gop,you should exchange your parents.And parents need more of our love
