To be a little jealous, in my opinion is a sign that you really care about somebody, but to much jealousy can break a relation. Usual who like to have many people same time hate jealousy a lot, and sometimes who feel guilty will acusse other that he is guilty. Is true that who are not jelouse and don t care is not really inlove? wHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THIS?

Jealousy does not equal love. If a person gets jealous rather easily, or even at all they are self conscious about something about and should try to build self esteem.

I do agree there has to be a little jealous in a relationship to make it function. Without it you would wonder well do he/ she cares for me. How do they really feel, but you have to be cautious about it to. Too much jealous will wreck a relationship. My opinion be open about everything. If something makes you feel uncomfortable tell the other person. Don't keep it in then later throw it in their face. People say they don't get jealous but they do. They would be lying if they say they don't. My husband told me he didn't and later found out even he gets a little jealous. That's normal and healthy.

i think it is both a sign of love and selfishness. love if the jealousy is just enough to spice the love, to rekindle somthing that might be going down the drain.. and selfish if it is too worst and have no reason at all.

I think jealousy is more of a selfish sign. I think when you are jealous over someone there isn't a whole lot of trust there. I mean if you get jealous over friends or whatever, i think thats a littl wrong and bad for the relationship.

In my opinion,i think if a person is jealousy to others very much,i think maybe he/she pay more attention to him/her,and he/she don't want to lose him/her,just in this way to show their care about them. But too much jealousy is not good for us,we must analysis the problem in a proper way and in a timely situation.

Jealousy in the extreme is not a sign of affection, but a sign of insecurity or lack of character. A person who exhibits jealous behavior is saying one or all of the following- "I have a lack of confidence in myself and my ability to be a worthy partner/lover." "I have no confidence in the depth of our relationship and our commitmemt to each other." "I would cheat if the opportunity arose, and so I must assume that you would also lack the character to be faithful." "I lack the maturity to understand that our species contains two genders and there can be nonsexual interaction between them if one or both are in a committed relationship." All of these say something about the lack of quality and integrity of the jealous individual. Extreme jelousy also demeans the depth and strength of a relationship. Worst of all, (and possibly without knowing it or intending to), the jealous person is insulting his/her lover by infering that if he/she is confronted with a prime oppportunity to be unfaithful, he/she would not resist. That is the same as saying, "My lover is a ----- and cannot be trusted". Jealousy is a waste of time and energy. If the love is true and the commitment is solid, then no one can take it from you. That which is built on a firm foundation is not likely to crumble. I find it interesting that the jealous individual rarely understands that he should worry less about who might be "loving his treasures" and more about "treasuring his love". smiles, ink

It depends on the degree of jealousy. If you want a little affection or attention a little jealousy is fine but if it leads to extreme nagging and fighting. Then jealousy is no longer healthy and must need careful evaluation.
