Do you shop at thrift stores for things? If so, what kind of things do you look for there?
What was the best buy you ever found?
I love to bargain hunt for treasure, but rarely have time.

Yes i do shop from the thrift store and some of my clothes came from the thrift store for it is one hundred percent cheaper if it will be compare to the new one. I also believe that i can save money which i can earn from buying the old clothes which i know that it is still good and it is still useful to my needs.

I like to shop for my kids playclothes there- especially during the summer months. They outgrow things so fast, or my youngest spills things quite frequently and stains her clothes, so I hate spending a lot of money on clothes.
My favorite finds are neat one of a kind items, like a painting, or a lamp for the house. I have found some neat things. I also collect Gone with the Wind themed items, and have found some there.

when we have the time and it is on our way home we stop buy thrift stores. i remember having bought a chanel hobo bag. it's a cheap knock off and i had the skin coming off from it in about two months but the size of the bag itself and it's horizontal colors in the same palette made it the ideal baby bag.
i also remember having found a talking barney the size of our then 1 and a half year old son that we got for almost 1/7 of the original prize. it didn't last that long since we left the battery in for a long time and it corroded.
but i read and one of my reasons, still, while i shop at those thrift stores is the old copies of fashion magazines that if you get one good issue is truly a collector's item. this goes the same way for books.

I did go to thrift store once in while. Usually, I don't find much stuff useful for me. Maybe I am not the shopping type. I just accompany my girlfriend or families to browsing around. I won't spend much time on look for something valuable there. Boring experience for me.

I love thrift stores. You can find some amazing bargains there. You can find designer clothes for a little bit of nothing. You can find baby things for the same. I go their and I come out with all kinds of deals. I love going shopping at these stores. You get more for your money in my opinion;-)
