the first time i saw shrek, i was so dissapointed that Fiona was turned into an ogre.. i expected that they would become human..but apparently, not! but then, i just realized that if we are talking about true love, we should choose the right path that makes us happy, like Fiona did.. For you, if you were Fiona, would you choose to be an ogre or to be a human? why?

I will do anything just to be with someone I love. If being an ogre will take me there, I will. Id rather be an ogre with the one i love than be a beautiful damsel with heartless prince. ( - _ - )

that's great idea!!... but what if you saw her/him that he is good in the inside and also with the outside.... would you not doubt him/her? i mean, he is good in the outside, but what you saw is that he's doing the right thing, but maybe we don't know if he's just pretending to be good just to be with you and hurt you... would you call that he/she's still the right one?

If I had met my TRUE LOVE, I would be willing to become an ogre assuming he didn't have the opportunity to become human. I don't find that looks makes a person...it's their heart!!! I would prefer an ogre with a kind heart for a husband over a Prince Charming with a black heart. Looks do NOT make you happy for long. The love of a good man is MUCH MORE important than the looks of a bad man.

I think you're really right! We should look at the person in the inside not in the outside.. cause what if you chose the guy you think that you love him because he has a good looking, then as you come into a relationship, you will realized that he is not the one you are looking for.. you begin to regret it.. so, i now i understand now.... thank you!!!

Yes, you are right. Fiona would choose to become an ogre assuming Shrek didn't have a chance to become a human. Appearance is not the most important part in a LOVE.

I think she chose well. She fell in love with Shrek. Not for his looks but for who he was. Looks did not matter. For him either. He loved Fiona for who she was. I think her becoming an Ogre made this better for them. To them this was a dream come true. They found their love story! It was real and looks did not matter. By the way I love this movie;-)

Yep.haha.I would like to live with Shrek and be an ogre actually. My first reason would be that we'll look fair in such ways,we'll be comfortable with each others company then our looks would probably attract only the both of us cause like I'm no more a Princess pretty look-a-like.

The spell that Fiona was put under said that true love's kiss would break the spell. Her true love happened to be Shrek. Lord Farquad was just wanting to become a king. That's why he wanted to marry her. If the wedding had gone as planned, the spell would not have been broken and Fiona would still be turning into an ogre everynight.
In response to the question though, if my one true love was an ogre, then yes, I would turn into an ogre for him, if it was in my power. True love isn't based on looks. It's based on what's on the inside. No matter what my true love looks like, I will love him when I finally meet him.
