i have had the same phone since may 2006.
it is a red lg u8330 and it isnt the best phone in the world (not the worst either) but its old and i want a new one. the part of the metal on the front as part of the design has come off and it is covered in scratches. the camera no longer works properly and all pictures come out blurred.
i would like a new phone but will not get a new one unless it stops working, but will also not get a new one if i break it. only if something like the speaker stops working, or the battery runs out of charge way too fast or etc.
know any ways i can stop my phone from working yet make it look like a phone defect not my doing?

If you have the means, better get yourself a new cellphone now. There are many good cellphones with high-resolution camera nowadays which you can buy at a minimal price. Check the internet so you can be guided on what to buy.

it's all according to how much you use the phone, i use mine very seldom so it doesn't matter to me, but most people use them all the time texing and such, so go for it. the only problem i see with new phones is that a better one comes out every other month and make's the one you just bought, not nearly new, but hey that's today's technology.

I am going to have a new phone and a new computer too.But my old phone still works very well.My old one is Sony Ericsson K750,I have been using it for 2 years and I am feeling tired of it now.So I decided to change it to Nokia N95 in next month.I think it cost you not a big amount of money to buy a new phone cause the prices of phones are decreasing all the time. You don't need to destory your old one to get a new one.Just try to save money and I am sure you can have enough money very soon. But if you really want to destroy your phone, you can break it firstly, then drop it to water, and pretend this is due to your careless.

I was going to say, throw it on the concrete, as that might work, as it will break it into pieces lol. Then again your parents would probably suspect you did it on purpose, but then again, you could tell them it fell out of your pocket and see if they believe that one. I know I would lol. It is easy to drop them as I have dropped mine but nothing happened to it as I was alrady on the ground when it dropped out of my purse. I just thought I would give you a few suggestions, so I hope you can get your new phone.

i have dropped mine many many times. and not once has any actual damage been done to it. lots of scratches have been put in it, but no actual damage, im actually considering trying to keep it on charge so the battery gets totally stuffed so then i can get a new one
