Got a phone interview a while ago, she said, she is from Las Vegas and I was subscribe to a certain site looking for an online business. I have remembered, I gave my phone number in one site that I have subscribe last Month and when I ask her what is the site she is working with, she could not answer to me. She said she is doing for an initial interview and my responses will then forwarded for a next level and they will call me for further interview to see If I can qualify for the online job. As we go along, she is already asking for my email address and if I have credit cards, debit cards. So I ended up our conversation and told her that the questions are getting personal and private that I could not give an answer.
Have anybody experience this kind of phone interview from unknown people? Or Am I just new to this kind of stuff?

I don think its right. U shouldn give phone numbers on sites u don initially have a idea of. Its like inviting trouble .. Email would be more than enough for any site or company to contact u. Be careful cuz i don think interview can go to bank accounts n al anywher in the world except wit fraudent companies. Take care..

I have not experienced this but you did a good thing by ending the conversation and not giving her all your personal detail. We are not supposed to give our debit card and credit card details on the phone or online to anyone. We never know who could be misusing this information.

I haven't gotten a phone call like that but I have had people claim that they are collecting a debt that I never had and wanted my debt card number or my checking account number, I just hung up.

Its good that you end up your discussion in that telephone operator because that may scam you. Be more careful next time. My sister was working in a call center where they need to ask the credit card number but they also give the name of their company and their full name in the client or customer so that will be the prof that they are legit and legal. But they only ask the credit card number if the customer will avail the credit card protection. So when the company don't give their company name, that's the time you have to suspect about the caller.
