Boy did I laugh when I read this and here's why. My situation is different from yours in the fact that we are having bad financil trouble and my dear husband has decided that we need to split the sheets so I'm trying to find a place so YES I am looking to move. I had to laugh about niosey neighbours, I have a few stories I could share with that issue, it's also our garbage day and I am also sifting through some junk that should have gone 30 years ago. The neighbours next door will not be missed. I have never seen anyone so nosey they just need to know what's happening. We won't tell anyone what's happening so they sit at the window and watch us move stuff to the garage as we're have an auction sale May 23drd. When all else failed she came over with three homade buns, my husband was quick to step outside shut the door behind him and just said thank you. I could tell you stuff you wouldn't believe that goes on here. Anyway have a great day

I have to say, I'm REAL glad to hear you all are moving. Who needs neighbors like that?! It has to be a real hassle though since it wasn't that long ago that you moved there. (Hope at least some of the stuff is still boxed up lol) I hate moving too, it's so hard to go through all of that stuff we've accumulated over the years and decide what we have to part with. Good luck with finding a new, and even better, place to be happy in. Have a wonderful day too!

Yes, I can't wait to move somewhere else, Joy, I usuaaly get along good with all my Neighbors but not this one, I heard they are getting put out because they didn't pay there rent, well, I am glad that they have to Move out, but I still don't want to live in this Lousy noisey Neighborhood. And it the Summer it really gets crazy, and I definely don't want to be around.

Actually, my fiance and I moved into our first apartment together. To be honest, it was a first apartment for both of us. Before this, we lived in an apartment, in residence. But the apartment we have is off-campus. So we were both excited, as well as nervous for it. And, although we encountered a few problems along the way, for me, it was rather fun and exciting to be able to move in. Granted, it was probably due to the fact that it was my first apartment. Let's just say the one I had doesn't really count, in my opinion. I see it more as a transition. But anyhow, I thought it was rather fun moving in today. But maybe that's just me.

I think that the decorating part is fun. It's definitely one of the best parts, if not the best part of moving.

I can't take all my stuff either so I have to get rid of some of it, I like to keep everything but then when you do, yur house get cluttered, and someone once told me don't let you house stay clutter, because you will get negative engery. And I think that is true. Because that is all I have been having. Thanks for input.

I will be this summer. I will be moving down to Florida with my 2 kids to live with a cousin. I am not to happy about having to move let alone move in with someone else. I am so use to having my privacy. That will all go out the window now. It's just temporary until I can get public housing but very uncomfortable none the less. I sold my couch and love seat to my Realtor. My house is in the process of a short sale. We have an offer and I am just waiting for the bank to approve my application for it. I just have to figure out a way to get my kids bedroom sets down there as that is all I will be taking furniture wise and our clothes. Moving stinks LOL!

I will be moving out of my apartment for good in less than two weeks. I have to pack everything up and leave again. I probably will be heading home, however I'm not sure how long I will actually be home before I end up moving out again. Will I end up staying at home? Will I end up moving into another apartment in this town again? I have no idea. I'm so uncertain about things and it's definitely not good.

Moving to another house is very stressful for me. I remember the day when me and my husband moved in to this house which we have been living for almost five years now that we got so tired loading our appliances, personal belongings, dogs, etc. I'm glad that we have bought this house and we will just be renovating or make some improvements to it. We will not longer be moving.

I have moved 27 times in 31 years and am in the process of my 28th time! I have it down to a science and even keep the boxes, and just put back in the box what it is labeled on on the front!!!However, the last move I was able to get those big totes to keept hings like christmas things and holidays stuff and my kids keepsakes in. I have also learned... you don't need most of what you have, and half of the rest, since it hasn't been used in so long, why keep hanging on to it! YOu'd besurprised at how much you have and store and move around...yet never yes. Have a yard sale, sale in thelocal freebie paper and get the money and save it or do soething nice for your new place. I am in an apartment - seniors only - and let me tell you - these are som eof the most noiseiest people ever! They allow dogs and the dogs rule, and the people are the most rudest I have ever been around! I am going back to a multi family - $350 a month cheaper! and a beautiful place, and I am all by myself on the end of the building, no noise, no cars, no dogs, no people... nless they are on their way to the playground! Perfect little playgorund for my grend daughters. I have been selling things in the free paper/online nad doing pretty good that way and hav a nice little nest egg and will be redoing my bedroom at the new place with my money! Plus, I now do not have to fgiure how to store all that stuff - that I didn't use, didn't need and even didn't want!!! Amd there is alot of stuff I will be giving to Disabled Vets charity (kind of went half and half on that - gave them the bigger things and I sold the toys and little things) Last move was from a 4 bedroom house. THe kids left, so I didn't need all that and the yard work! and went to a 2x2 . I didn't do yward sales that year as I just was not into it so the Vets were at my house every other thursday for about 2 months!!! Worked great! Key is.. if you haven't used it in a year - give it! Then go through and if you haven't used it in 6 months.. think about if - will you use it later or not? If not, give it!or sell it. HEck, a buck an item is better t han storing it for ever! Good luck with your move!

You we both have to come to an agreement, i foud this nice place in Bedford and he said he didn't want to live out that far, Bedford is a nice neighborhood more like surburbs. Have a good day!

I think I will be moving soon, reason being is that the flat in which we are living is illegal and will be vanished in next 4-5 months. It is rentd by us, so we will have to see another place to live our life in. It is a burden moving on because this time we have even more things to move compared to last time. Last time, we did't had TV set, Washing machine and two bed. so, it will be a big burden for us.

It's bad luck thing to have that neighborhood,If I were you ,I would talk to landlord about this, something like you would move out there ,the rent should be cut back and so on,just let he to negotiate with them,if they dodn't hold back, there is no more good thing to move there.

Hello Marcie Darlin, Moving is such a pain. I moved 3 1/2 years ago, right nex door, it still was hard to do. I got rid of tons of stuff. Lots of stuff I threw in the trash, some I gave away to people I know and the rest of the stuff to Goodwill. You can also check and see if any churches are having rummage sales, they might even come and pick up the stuff. Its too bad you aren't closer, my church is having a rummage sale next week. Good liuck on finding a nice place Marcie. I know you have been wanting to move.

Thanks Vicky, yes I remember when you moved, it has been that long? boy does time fly by. That is how long we have been here right? Yes, I is going to be complicated because everywhere I want to move, he doesn't want to, so we have to come to some kind of agreement. Something has got to give.

I'm a little late responding to this one my friend. Have been busy with other things, but I hope your clear-out went well, and that you've managed to find a home for all your surplus stuff. Yes, moving can be hard work when you've accumulated a lot of personal belongings, but it sounds as though the move is going to be a good one for your sanity! I hope so, anyway, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

I hated moving out here to Winnipeg from Saskatoon. We heard that it was the murder capital of Canada, and besides it was not as clean as Saskatoon. We had to rent for a couple of months while looking for a house, and it was in a duplex where they had sold units but the land they were on was not considered part of the sale then and then when it was, the owners had to pay more money so the ones that left because they could not pay and we went the now empty place, put gashes in the wall. Then when we moved to our house because the CN railway that my husband worked for then had already moved us from Saskatoon to Winnipeg, we still had much of our stuff unpacked. So we had to unpack everything, but at least we did not have to throw anything away.

I hope so, marcia, I have to get to Florida to clean out my family home. I had to put off for a year to get my last child graduated from high school. There is not much to pack, I have already given most of my stuff away. My family home is full of all sorts of stuff and will have to get rid of many of those things; not looking forward to it though. Want to get in there, and get it done as quickly as possible so I can go on with my life.

Hello marciascott, Good for you that you'll be moving in a new place. In our case, we're moving soon, too. After having been here for 7 years, it's now time for us to move to another place, since my kids are growing up and they will need to have their own rooms. My kids are now excited to have their room, and they even draw things on where and how to place their things. And just like what you've said, it's a garbage day, I agree with you, coz I have a lot of stuffs that needed to be disposed. My daughter is also attending to her stuffs, she separates those that she still uses and those that are considered clutter... :)
