Does anyone know how I could go about this? I know plenty of places to get traffic in order to get new members, so that's not a problem.
But for me, I need to find a script, I have some hosting options, but I'd have to get a domain as well.
I don't want to spend too much money, but at the same time, I don't want it to cost much for the seller either, unlike other sites that are out there.
If anyone has options or suggestions I would appreciate it.

That would be (a bit) easy. Go to GetaFreeLancer.com and hire a programmer that can create a script for you. This may cost a lot of money (depending on how much a programmer would demand for creating and maintaining your site).
Please return the favor and PM me those traffic sources that you use. I would love to know them.

Sure, no problem. Just send a friends request and I'll get the links ready for you while you do so.
I don't have a lot to spend on having a site done, but I'll look into possibly bartering services if I can get someone local.

Thank you. I actually have an account with name.com but will probably go with something else as long as it takes Paypal. Since I just got paid from a site today I can afford to buy a domain.

To have a website, you need:
1. Web Space.
2. A domain name.
3. Designing the site.
If you don't want to spend too much money, you can avail services available for free on the internet.
There are many websites that give free web space (ranging from 10MB to 1GB or even more). You can go for any of such websites (for example websamba, lycos, geocities etc). But free hosting has its own drawbacks. many websites add their own banners in your web pages while some may ask you for a fee after few months.
To get a domain name, you will have to spend few bucks since the URL redirection services that come for free do not give professional domain names (like .com, .net extensions). Domains are very cheap these days, starting from $1.99 or even cheaper.
Now to design your website, you can do it either yourself if you know working with HTML, PHP, XML, ASP, JSP etc. else you can always get it done from market after paying for them.
Hope this info helps. Do share the link of your website with us once you are done with it. Good Luck .

I have some options for you
1. Domain name-
You can buy it from godaddy.com or get a free one from www.co.cc
co.cc gives free domain name for one year and then after you need to register at 3$ per year. they also create a pay channel for you so that you can do transactions using paypal.
2. Web hosting
Again you can buy from godaddy or get free one from www.freehostia.com or www.awardspace.com. Free hosting is a good option if you want to test your website.
So you will get a website without paying a penny.
Then you should hire someone or make it yourself..
