May is fast approaching and it'll be the Hatton-Pacquio fight. Undeniably, many will be watching all over around the world to witness this another event. Again, here in the Philippines, there will be no busy streets because most Filipinos will be switching on their televisions. A lot of restaurants are already offering a buffet while watching the show for a particular fee. But for me, pay per view is already an excellent idea where all the family can see and gather. How about you? Where are you going to watch this?

I plan on watching it at a friends house. Little does he know he's gonna pay for the Pay Per View all by his lonesome, with no assistance from the cash hiding in my wallet. I offered to help pay for the snakes and beverages, nothing more.
I'm not really a huge boxing fan.I try to watch Friday Night Fights on ESPN 2, and retro fights on Classic every now and then. I can never seem to get hooked on the sport long term though.
I don't know if it's the marketing, the overabundance of belts, or the lack of two larger than life loudmouths signing a contract to duke it out with each other. Boxing is a great sport, with a lot of talented combatants.
I kinda wish Boxing took the place of professional wrestling(in terms of popularity and impact on pop culture). Think about it. If Don King came up with a few soap opera storylines, Vince McMahon would be in some back alley, arranging wrestling matches between himself and drunk hobos.
