Youtube: Does anyone miss the way that it used to be?

Just around two years ago, you could find nearly any official music video on Youtube. You could find homevideos and montages of people's loved ones... Tributes to people.. places and things.. captured memories of lost loved ones. Music and the videos that went with them that no longer receive airplay and aren't on other sites like Yahoo Music. Then WMG and various others yelled about copyrights.
Anyone else sorely miss those days? There are times when I've spent hours scouring around the net just to find one video of a song that I miss...

I have found that it depends on the keyword that you use to find something on Youtube. I usually take a few different keywords and eventually find what I want. What are you looking for?

Im not looking for anything in particular..
It's just after watching videos that are there and disappear days or even minutes later due to "Copyright claims by WMG.. Copyright claims by so & so"... "The audio track has been muted due to copyright concerns"...

I do notice that too. Too bad and nowadays I just log on youtube and check out personal videos of others made. When I need to listen to tunes badly, either I go to itunes or just check out some blogs where they put up some nice songs. I wish the old youtube will be back where there are more varieties. Anyway, I'm still a die hard fan of the tube. :)
