Do you believe people can fall in love at the first sight?

I do believe two people can fall in love at first sight. However sometimes that 'butterflies in your stomach, man he makes my heart race, physical attraction' can be miscontstrued as love at first sight. Sometimes it Is just a physical reaction, and you learn to fall in love with them as you get to know them better and learn more about them, ect. But once in a very blue moon, you will meet someone, and you will look at them and your eyes will lock and you will just FEEL it, in your heart and in your soul, that this is the one for you. I have experienced it so I'm a firm believer, however some people disagree. But don't hold your breath, waiting on it to happen. Lust at first sight that later turns into love is just as good and rewarding. Either way, it's still the most amazing thing in the world: Love :)

I don't believe in LOVE at first sight. I guess you can fall in "lust" at first sight but love is too complicated to know by just seeing someone. Love takes time to form and you need to know the other person very well in order to feel those things.

I think it's possible, but rare. It would take an exceptional person to fall in truly love with someone without knowing more about them and be able to accept their faults (which we all have). Maybe it is a gift from God.

No I don't believe in love in first sight. That is attraction not love. Love takes time to grow. Love is like a seedling which you need to nurture to grow in a strong tree. You have to get to know the person before you fall in love that lasts for lifetime. May be you can fall in love in one glance but that may not last after you get to know the person.

ive experince love in the first sight, i can describe how it feels like. My heart bet faster, i cant talk when i was meet her, my face getting red. And nobody cant replace her..its strange feelings

falling in love is easy, it's just like getting really attracted to a person or becoming infatuated with that person, the feeling is really intense and that's how people think they are already in love. what's more important is for the love to stay and the relationship to be maintained after the infatuation fades away.

I don't believe in love at first sight, because being attracted to someone on appearence alone is lust at not love. Yes this lust can turn into love over a period of time, but that is something different to love at first sight. I think that it is really sweet that he can remember everything about the first time the two of you met, but I bet that if the next few weeks / month did not go well then he would never have fallen in love.

not really.but in happens in rare cases.I believe in intense attraction at first sight.you can get attracted to a person's physical characteristics the first time you see him/her.but that attraction will grow into love only once you get to know the person.love takes time to grow.

your boyfriend is so sweet. i have experienced falling in love at first sight. and that is my husband also. i could also remember the way he looks the first time i met him. i could feel that there's something with this man and i feel like i must have to know him well. until time that he too likes me.

I don't believe in love at first sight. People are so complicated that we can't judge them only by their appearence. Instead i believe in love will gradually come with time. To love someone, we need to stay longer with him to know him well enough, at the end we will decide if he is the one who we will spend time with and share feelings forever.

I personally call it as infactuation! but opinion differs always :) Its really difficult to accept people telling they are in love o first sight. To have a go for long run one must have better understnding of other which might include the likes and dislikes of your partner, etc. As i said, its upto the peoples perception :)

Yes, well kinda. I think that our soul can sometimes detect its mate sometimes long before our mind realizes it. But I don't think that people fall in love I think that they are destined to be in love. Like those 2 people are created for eachother. It wasn't love, but I had a similar feeling once with a guy. I can still remember exactly what he was wearing, doing, and everything. I was with that guy for 5 years. It wasn't love, but I do think that we were destined to be in eachothers' lives at that time and so we had an instant attraction to eachother.

Absolutely, I believe it for it happens to me! We met each other at a bus stop where we must pass by every day!But I just notice him at one time, then I felt so good at that time, a sunny and handsome guy! Then we get on a bus, fortunately, we sat together. He smiled to me, oh, I just felt very nervous! I am the one who is open-minded, so I gain contact methods from him, and forwardly call him! Then one we stay togehter!

Yes I've experienced it once. This incredible chemistry with a dude across a crowded room. He felt the same cos we couldn't take our eyes off one another :p but it could have been plain lust too! who knows. WE never got a chance to talk nor meet again.. lol, too bad

Hi Landi, I believe fall in love at the first sight. I've actually started a similar discussion like yours 2 weeks ago.That is the story between me and my first lover. I fell in love with him when i first meet him, i don't even know who he is, but when he finally come to me, i can hear my heartbeat faster and faster. I believe that's fell in love in first side. That is the only time i feel that way. Too bad that we did not make it, but that's my beautiful memories and i will remember that forever. Thanks for this topic.

I don't believe in love at first sight at all. Not even one tiny bit because the concept itself seems impractical and nonsensical. Maybe it is because I am more of a practical person rather than a romantic one. I have to get to know the guy first before I fall in love with him. I want to love the person that he is inside and not just the physical aspect.

well i've been asked that question a lot of times, but i'm willing to answer it again now. i don't believe that people can fall in love at first sight. maybe some can fall in bed at first sight. but i think it takes time to know if it's really love that we feel or if it's just an attraction. maybe like at first sight, but definitely not love at first sight. just my opinion though.
