Can ipl change the way cricket is played and viewed? If it does is it good for cricket? As test cricket is considered as the ultimate form of cricket, whether ipl and other money making 20-20 leagues spoil this form of original cricket?
The game of cricket is also changing as nothing can be unchanged for long. Change should be accepted. Hope it will be for the good.

The T20 world cup and IPL has added excitement in all forms of cricket. Now a days we often see 350 runs scored in a day of a test match, so the shorter version has given some benefit to test cricket.
After first season of IPL some players emerge in world cricket like shaun marsh, yusuf pathan, sohail tanvir etc ...
The players like santh jayasuriya and shane watson got considered by their team to play in ODI.

I think mans are going busy and more busy day after day ... 20-20 matches is a short time match with real excitement.. In older days mans watch test cricket for five days .. but now a days they just hear the score after the day play in news Chanel .. But 3hrs 20-20 matches are short time, challenging and people watch still what will come in next ball.. I think it might be spoiling original cricket but .. it is a good form of cricket !
