i think if people would stay home when they are sick alot of things wouldn't spread.i have had them come to the shop w/a fever & whatever to get their hair fixed. i don't want to travel anyway & it's just as well right now. hope u stay well.

Yes you see people in terrible ways on public transport ect why don't they stay at home for a few days and keep their germs to themselves. We only travel in England to caravan club sites which are quite remote anyway. That is the way we like it,we enjoy other peoples company but when we feel like it.We are not rude to people but most others on these sites like there own company.Or maybe a chat at the showers but on the whole are private people.Stay safe your self love sue.xxx

Minimal travel restrictions should be put into place.Sure this will reduce the spread of this strange epidemic. The least contact you can have with one another the better and safer it will be. The old maxim is ' prevention is better than cure '.
Listen to the necessary precautions from the Health Officials and use some common sense.
Keep yourself in tact, and have a pleasant day

i think they should stop travel for a while at least until it is under control. one life is one life to many. and we really do not know how bad this thing is.i just do not understand how it ever got so bad in the first place .it really scares me i have three small children and i just can not risk some thing like this. i keep my home as germ free as i can but today i was relly washing every thing down with bleech. it seems to kill every thing.

i would not even try to gamble my health in pursuing that most needed travel. health can not be bought somewhere, so i would cherish that. travelling in and out of that place or country should be banned.

They have actually banned flights to mexico at the moment for five days, I think at the moment from England.I would hate to bring something back like that and infect all my family and friends ,it was different when no one really knew about it,but now they do they should not travel. Thanks for response.xx

I think travel should be restricted for some time as if it isn't then millions of non-travellers are being put at risk of contracting the virus. For example, if I were sitting next to someone on the train who had recently caught the virus whilst on their travels but is unaware, I could potentially catch the virus off of them even though I have tried to play it safe by not travelling myself. I think high-risk areas should certainly be restricted.

High risk areas should be avoided,if we don't watch out we will all get paronoid about other people, but saying that if it does get bad in England I shall stay away from buses and train, but then my son has to travel to school. It is a wait and see thing isn't it.Thanks for your response.xx

yes I do belive you should not go to these places and if you do don't come back and bring the flu with you to give someone else.

No, I am not traveling anywhere at all right now. It is sad if some places you want to travel they do not let you in those places. But, then I surely do not want the swine flu back here in the USA either.

I would think that they should restrict travel to these places and make sure that every travel gets a flu shot. I also do not know whether this swine flu was engineered or it is a weapon in the hands of terrorists and they are using it to stop travel altogether so their victims would be in one space. But we should first stop travel to the places where it is most prevalent.
This is getting to sound like an old comic book series. I wonder if the other food scares and this are connected. Sounds like it to me.

I don't know what to think about it, its a good thing I don't travel much, I know I won't be going to Mexico anytime soon, since thats where they think it came from. My sister goes down there all the time, I hope she doesn't go down there for awhile, I wouldn't want her to get sick. I think they should do something about traveling to those places, make people get some kind of vaccine before they go down there or before they come back.

I'm not travelling outside of my local neighbourhood, but I just finished a contract job for a guy who's based in Mexico. He was a really sweet guy to work for, even though we only conversed by internet. Hope he's alright.

Hello Suzzy, I am not too far from New York and this will effect more areas so I don't think anywhere is safe especially how germs like this spread whether you travel or not once it is in the air or someone catches it,it will spread.I don't think they will halt all travel unless it becomes a bigger epidemic, some areas that are extremely severe may be quarantined.Let's just hope they find away to stop it,or will all be wearing gloves and face masks.I do think this is causing a big panic which isn't a good thing we need to wait and see but be mindful and take care of ourselves best we can.But try and avoid panic coz that just makes things worse I think.

Panic is the worse thing.People will be ringing up the doctors everytime they get a fever of have to blow their nose.like you say the best thing to do is keep calm, like my Brian says we were all going to be seen off by bird flu a few years ago he worries about nothing. Thanks for response ,xx.
