Taj came to my home to stay.
He was just 4 weeks old, in pretty good shape so he hadn't been on his own long, a little dehydrated.
Taj was a cute little orange baby. Now, as we know, he's a fat, happy, healthy (toothless) 7 yr old boy. I'll post the picture of Taj when he was a baby.

We got Katie our shihtzu when Angelina was about 1 1/2 so our shihtzu was older when we got her. I actually prefer it that way! She was already house trained and was "raised" around kids so we didn't have to worry too much about how she'd be with our daughter!

It's lovely to see all the pictures of your kitty, he looks like a lovely, big pluchie, fluffball! I am totally addicted to cats, I have 6 myself and I love them all to pieces. The eldest one I have at the moment is 10 years old and the youngest brother and sister still have some turning one to do. It's funny how time flies and in no time you end up with a cat that fills up your whole lap whilst you are thinking where the time has gone when they fit your hand .

That's so cute . I have one kitty with a very bad eyesight and he meows to locate you and he will want you to answer back. He becomes agitated and uncomfortable if we don't because he will have a hard time determining who is in the room and where. He is very affectioned but to a limited number of people, and he has chosen me as his personal favourite. This means a lot of attention giving and talking to him A LOT, lol! I don't mind though, he gives a lot in return and I have never gotten a kitten that is this affectioned.

My client's cat has lost vision in one eye, it has a cataract in it, and its completely white now. But I've had lots of Siamese - they think that the blue eyes causes poorer vision than other cats and that is why they are noisier than normal cats.

Yeah, Taj was a little one, not as little as Oliver was, since Oliver was only a week old when we got him. We have a couple of gals that have just turned 1, and now Blossom looks like she's from a different litter than Flower, and Flower only looks about 5 or 6 months old. Flower was the runt of the litter.

What a big boy he must be now! Is he still a kitten in a cats body? Or did he decide to leave that all behind? lol.
it must be wonderful to have him in your home.

I know that he is the light of your life. I don't know what I would do without this precious little puppy that is laying beside me. She is the joy that keeps me going some days! Our pets mean so much to those of us who have one. My mom has two dogs and they have really helped her therapy and recovery since having a stroke three years ago.

Awww--how cute he is. I love orange colored cats and had a number of them over the years..Taffy, Bobbie, Buffy, and Footie--sadly they are all now in Rainbow Bridge--Footie who one of my friends took when my mother and I were going through the eviction issue passed a year and a half ago...but here's a picture of him when he was a small kitten in my handbag....we got him from Bide A Wee--he's real name was Koshka...but always called him Footie since he had the extra toes.

Taj is the first orange cat I've had that made it over 4. I was afraid I had lost him just before his 4th birthday when he was out for a week, turned out rather than getting out in the street, he was in the tree.
Your baby was a cutie too.

What a cutie! And still is! He reminds me a lot of my first cat, right down to his white booties. I could do anything to that cat, even dress him up in dolls clothes (I was only 7 at the time). The only thing he didn't like was getting his stomach touched. You could lose a finger that way.

That's cool. I love kittens. They are so adorable. It's good to hear that you still have your kitten after this many years. It is cool to watch them grow. I have one cat myself. I like cats because they are independant and they do not require a lot of care.

I have forgotten, how did you come to decide his teeth needed out? I seem to remember it was a disease or disorder that caused his tongue to protrude or sores in his mouth or drooling. Remind me. I know that seven years has gone quickly for you. They just cozy their way right into your heart.

What a gorgeous little boy. Sometimes the animals we love the most are the ones who are stray, hungry, cold and homeless. I got my boy that way. He was microchipped and when we called the owner to say we had his cat he said "Oh, we had a kitten go missing about 6 months ago." We asked if he would like to come and collect his cat he said that he didn't want him as they got another kitten to replace him!
Luckily I was there that day that he came into my work as a stray because I realised what a beatiful smoochy friendly cat he was. He is now my little buddy who sleeps on my bed every night.
Little Taj is a lucky boy who has found a wonderful owner in you.

Hi Elic,
Seve years, time do go by fast, Taj looked so sweet when he was a kitten and I bet he still looks cute, no matter if he is toothless and fat. I love all cats, my two are nearly 10 years old.
