Would you report a shop lifter?

If you saw a shopper in a store shop lift an item, would you be a good citizen, or would you just ignore it, pretend nothing was happening, and continue on your own shopping? For me, I would definitely report the misdemeanor of that person. Hopefully the store manager can catch him/her. Make him/her never done the same thing ever again. What would you say?

If I was in a store and seen a shoplifter I would try to find someone and report it. I feel it is important to help curb shoplifting to help calm down some of the many people who do it, and to also help keep the prices from going up as well. It is truly a shame when so many people turn to this just to try and save some money.

I would definitely report it. I used to work in a store as a sales manager and I am familiar with shoplifters. It is important to report it to prevent these thieves from stealing again. They need to be responsible for their actions so that they can be punished for their crimes. It would be unfair to the retailers, too, since shoplifters increase losses for the store and therefore drive up the prices.

Depends on what they shoplifted and who shoplifted. iF it was a homeless man (obviusly) and he was just stealing a loaf of bread, thats fine . but anything else just is wrong.and i would report them.
