I had to ask my son of twelve how to copy and paste lol.He spoke to me like a child and said now watch i am doing then you have a try. Then just to top it all he went and told my friends that us adults shouldnt go on a pc if we dont know what we are doing. Now he is going round their houses showing them all different things on a pc that can be done and they are paying him.He said see you can earn money on a pc.Dont they learn quick and at an early age.

Don't feel bad. My generation and his got to, and are getting to, learn computers at a young age. Even my husband, who is only 3 years older than me has to ask me almost everything about computers. Praise the Lord, he is learning well, and I don't have to be there as much anymore. But there are still those occasions where I will get a phone call while at a friend's house or whatever and have to walk him through the problem. I almost think I am pathetic, because I know my computer so well that I can sometimes tell him the problem, and he barely even said 5 words. I am pathetic, ain't I? :'-(
Hey, maybe I can make some money troubleshooting over the phone... HMMM...

Wow, not bad at all for such a young age! You've got yourself a bright spark if he's already able to teach others about the functionality of a PC. If he wants, I suggest him taking some classes for more in-depth computer skills, such as PC Repair.
