Just the other night mumbai indians had an almost perfect match with the two senior pros leading the way. The punjab team is on a roll somewhat and will look to extend their winning streak of two matches so far. After losing both their matches against punjab in the last season mumbai indians would have a score to settle against them. Will mumbai indians be able to stop the punjab winning streak and start one of their own. What do you think?

My vote for Mumbai Indians. Sachin is anyway my favourite player and would like to see him bat today as well. On the other hand, Jayasurya has got his touch back, so it will be difficult for Punjab bowlers to stop him. The Kings XI team has already been backed out due to non-availability of bowlers like Brett Lee and Sreesanth so it will be diffcult for them to contend the Mumbai Indians to a low total. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have already showed what a devastating bowling line up they have, in the last match.
Talking about the last season, I guess, this IPL season is defintely going to be different and more interesting and the top teams of the last year are already down in terms of points. So lets just hope for more excitement and thrill

i would go with the indians hand down.
main reason jayasurya got his touch and remember the last time he got his touch.no one was able to stop him and seeing the master being aggresive is a very good sign for the indians.
malinga their main weapon is still very much oiled and working pretty well whiule zaheer is getting back.loved to see sachin bowl during the last match though i was praying he wont go for any boundaries or six
seems abhishek nayar is ok with his medium pace so their bowling is much better than previous year.
punjab is getting better but they cant solely depend on abdulla and chawla to bring down the run rate.if mendis can go for 28 runs in his first 2 overs ,chawla got a lot to worry about.hope he wont bring back the images where sachin hit him for 28 runs in a domestic match over.batting is decent so hoping for a close finish like last time but indians as the victor

After their performance against the Knightriders a couple of days ago, Mumbai Indians would definitely be the favourites to win this match. I think theyve got their team working again. Tendulkar and Sanath are always good, Malinga has bowled well and other players have contributed when needed.
On the other hand Punjab dont look as convincing as last year. They are missing Brett Lee, Marsh and Hopes a lot. I think their bowling is their weakness. In the past two matches they have done well. I'll say Punjab will win this match. They seem to have woken up a bit in the past couple of games. But they will have to play with all their heart and mind if they are to win this one.
